v0.282.0Aug 13, 2026
Added
  • Either sidebar can now show Home, Activity, File Tree, Timeline, or Skills & Agents, with independent hide (edge-hover peek when hidden), side-swapping, and a pinnable quick-actions strip; the old Overview view is retired.
  • Cmd+K now opens Omni-search, actions can bind an extra keyboard shortcut alongside their default, and holding Cmd on Home reveals each row's shortcut.
  • Chat and launcher composers can save, recall, and reorder draft prompts.
  • The Tasks view supports named, saved quick filters.
  • Screen recording now lets you pick a specific display or window before capture starts.
  • Launcher @-mentions of a launch profile now bind that profile's settings directly instead of inserting text.
  • Chat's context/quota meter now links to your provider's usage-limits page.
Changed
  • Cold workspace startup is faster.
  • The Activity sidebar keeps unopened items in Recent and gives them a short grace period after you first open them.
Fixed
  • Diff-heavy chat transcripts scroll and render more smoothly.
  • Wallpaper no longer shows through pane and sidebar gaps when wallpaper is turned off.
  • Source control status no longer goes stale.
  • Reduced chat memory growth over long sessions.
  • Small visual polish: dropdown submenus clipping at panel edges, save tooltips lingering over open popovers, and view-options menus flickering on repeated clicks.
