v0.248.0Jul 26, 2026
Added
  • Background shell commands run from chat now open as an inspectable terminal instead of a static status row.
  • Close all rooms in the current wing, or every room but the current one, in one action.
Changed
  • The live turn's changed-files digest now lives in the composer drawer alongside the rest of turn activity.
Fixed
  • Dictation no longer drops or garbles words around pauses, push-to-talk holds, and mid-hold interruptions.
  • Chat no longer duplicates message bubbles on quick sends or shows agent interrupt markers as if you'd sent them.
  • Fixed a rare case where sending a message while the agent was busy could leave that turn stuck forever.
  • Restored the prompt suggestion after reopening a past conversation, and removed a duplicated label in the context usage breakdown.
  • The activity sidebar no longer jitters as working cards update, and long status verbs no longer wrap awkwardly.
  • Room history (Vault) now reliably captures agent chats and bulk room closes, and keeps more history per project.
  • Editing an installed tool by hand no longer breaks its next update.
  • Dismissed panes now restore their backdrop correctly instead of showing a blank frame.
